A hackathon is a fun event where people come together and form teams to build inventions over a 24-hour period. The goal is to collaborate and create a project, software or hardware, by the end of the event. Teams will have the chance to submit their work to judges and receive feedback and even prizes!
Eco Code is open to any high-school and college students. You do not need any experience to attend — whether you are interested in computer science or environmental studies, or generally curious, you're welcome to join!
Yes! We provide food, materials, and swag!
In person! The location will be released prior to the event on our website and Slack/Discord.
You can register alone or with a team of up to 5 people. If you don't have a team, we'll have team formation activities at the beginning of our event.
Your laptop, charger, pillow/blanket/sleeping bag, and thinking cap!
All work must be done during the hackathon. You can come with ideas beforehand, but no code should be written before hacking begins. This ensures a fair competition for everyone!
Sign up through our volunteer/mentor form — link coming soon!
